All-Star mode stages:
Every character in All-Star mode has a specific stage you fight them in, even if it is not their stage. Eventually, you will fight two opponents at a time, and then three opponents at a time. Use the following trick to find out what stage you are going fight in. On the little path with the three hearts and the teleporter to the next fight, there are small TV screens that appear behind the teleporter. These screens show you what opponent(s) you are fighting next. When it shows two opponents, you will be in the stage of the one on the left. When it shows three opponents, you will be in the stage of the opponent in the middle.

There are trophies for all the Nintendo fighters. There are two for each, Smash trophies, and Regular trophies. To attain Smash trophies, complete adventure mode with any character. To acquire a Regular character trophy, complete the classic mode with that character. Regular trophies give a description about the character and tell which game/country they are from. Smash trophies list two of the character's attacks and attributes.
Information in this section was contributed by The IceVirus X.

You have a better chance of getting a Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion, and Super Monkey Ball trophy by saving those games on the same memory card used for Super Smash Bros. Melee. However, you can still get them if they are not present.
Information in this section was contributed by Werewolf8989.

Go to training mode and select Link as your character playing against any other character. Go to the Great Fox level with the frontal view. Set your opponent on "Evade" and get him or her to drop to the lower wing. Once your opponent is down there, change them to "Stand". Push him or her cornered to the side of the Great Fox. It helps to put on three characters, because one will appear behind you on that lower wing and you can push him towards the other opponent you have cornered. That one will act as a barricade to keep you from moving backwards as fast, but is not a necessity. Repeatedly press A while against the cornered opponent until you start swinging the sword wildly. If you press Abutton fast enough, you can get as much as 49 combos.

Information in this section was contributed by cm555.

Hint: Completing event mode #13:
To easily complete event mode #13, pick up the egg and repeatedly jump back and forth over the stage.
Information in this section was contributed by Fict0n.

While on the boat, just stay away from the egg. Do not worry if you are on the edge, as you have unlimited lives. Once the ship crashes, get the egg and run up the platforms, avoiding the enemies.
Information in this section was contributed by Evilsilvir.

Hint: Completing event mode #34 (Seven Years):
Go to the left edge of the rock at the left of the stage while Link is at the other side. Wait for Link to jump above. When he down slashes at you, let him hit you and he will bounce off the rock, making him jump off the stage. Repeat until this event is completed.
Information in this section was contributed by cm555.

Hint: Completing event mode # 37 (Legendary Pokemon):
When the event starts, go for the Jigglypuff and KO it because it is the only one who can pick up the Pokeballs. After that, simply defeat the remaining enemies. Note: A good character to choose is Donkey Kong. Use his Down + B attack to quickly KO the enemies.
Information in this section was contributed by herrickt.

Hint: Completing event mode #50 (Final Destination Match):
As Donkey Kong (recommended) or Bowser, continually do the B + Up attack on Master Hand. Each well timed hit should do 30+ damage.
Information in this section was contributed by Evilsilvir.

Hint: Completing event mode #51 (The Showdown):
Start the event as Jigglypuff. Immediately start flying and descend upon Giga Bowser and press Down + B to do her Rest attack. If done correctly, it should make a screaming noise and send Bowser flying. Jigglypuff will fall asleep, but she will quickly be attacked by Mewtwo or Ganondorf and will wake up. Keep repeating the process of flying over the stage and using the Rest attack on Bowser until he has lost all three of his lives. It takes at most two Rest attacks to send Bowser off the stage. If you maneuvered this skillfully enough, Jigglypuff should have two lives left and Mewtwo and Ganondorf should each have three. At this point, run to the edge of the stage, wait for your two enemies to follow you, then fly over their heads to the other end of the stage. Repeat this process, flying back and forth across the stage and continually grabbing items to throw at Ganondorf and Mewtwo. If you fly high enough over their heads, they will never reach Jigglypuff and you will take no damage. However, watch out for Ganondorf's jumping grab attack. Look for Pokeballs and other cheap items to hurl at them. It may take a long time, but eventually the two remaining fighters will fall. Keep in mind that hand-to-hand combat does not work well with them, since they have a handicap against you. Cheapness is the key to this event.
Information in this section was contributed by Kirby Supreme.

Select Mewtwo. Giga Bowser will always be in the back or middle. Mewtwo or sometimes Ganondorf will always be in the front. Jump up twice and press Z or A(2) to make Mewtwo do his Psychic move. Make sure you hit Giga Bowser in the head and keep moving towards the edge. Giga Bowser will fly to the back and you will be on the other edge. Repeat until Giga Bowser has been defeated three times. If you are lucky, Ganondorf and perhaps Mewtwo will have died at least once. Then, fight as usually to fight both of them. Note This trick is not for beginners.
Information in this section was contributed by x-man theman.

Knock Giga Bowser off the edge. Sometimes he will try his fire breath on you and fall to his death.
Information in this section was contributed by Evilsilvir.

Hint: Adventure mode: Avoid fighting Link:
During adventure mode, there is a level in which you must find the Triforce to end the level. If you encounter Link's Sword though, you must fight Link to proceed. If timed correctly, you can jump over the sword and not have to fight Link. You must jump very high and far if you do not want to encounter him. This can save a lot of time.
Information in this section was contributed by Meneeococoa.

Hint: Completing 15 Minute Melee:
Start the game as Donkey Kong. Position yourself under the platform on the left or right side of the screen and begin doing his Down + B move to slap the ground. Do this as long as you can. Watch out for bombs, Pokemon, or any other hazards that might break through this great move.
Information in this section was contributed by Vince Wesselmann.

Select Mewtwo then go all the way to the left edge and have your back towards the center of the board. Press B to charge up your Psychic Ball but do not shoot it . Have him keep the ball in his hand. For the most part, the men will chase you. If they approach you closely, they will inflict damage. It will not kill them, so this is not a good thing if you want to accumulate KOs. Note: Keep the controller in your hand because sometimes they will get lucky and hit you -- you can jump back on and do it again. If you have all women there it will be easy -- they will mostly stay in one area.

To hit a long homerun as Yoshi, grab the bat as soon as you can start. Turn around and walk up close to the bag. Tap Jump as lightly as possible so Yoshi jumps no more then the size of the bag, then quickly tap Down + A to make him do his downward multi-kick. You will notice the multi-kick will bump the bag's percentage up 30+. Keep doing the multi-kick until the countdown is at one, then blast him with the bat. Before he slides all the way, hop over or run around to the other side and send it the other way a few times for more damage (if you have time). Hop back over, wind up, and let loose. Depending on how many hits you gave, the sandbag will fly 800 to 1100 feet. Dr. Mario seems to have more power to his swing than Mario, so he usually hits farther.
Information in this section was contributed by Evan Hickey.

As Peach, grab the bat, use two upward smash attacks on the sandbag, and jump using X or Y. Levitate using Down and A to rapidly kick the sandbag. When the timer is at "1", wind up and cut loose. It is possible to smash the sandbag over 1100 feet.

Hint: Unlocking characters easily:
Play as Ganondorf in sudden death mode with Falco or Fox as an opponent.
Information in this section was contributed by nune8563.

Hint: Raising multi-player match count:
To easily obtain the amount of multi-player match counts needed to unlock Mewtwo and several levels, set the custom rules on a stock game to one life, pause off, and random selection of stages. Start a super sudden death match, choosing a relatively fast opponent set at CPU level 9. Start the match and press Start continuously as needed, allowing the CPU to defeat you until your match count raises to the desired amount.
Information in this section was contributed by Fict0n.

Hint: Quick versus mode battles:
To easily unlock characters or stages that require a certain number of versus mode battles, set the custom rules battles for one minute each so you do not need to do the two minute melee.

Set the damage ratio to 2.0 and the item switch to all Homerun Bats or Hammers. Bats are recommended if you do not have four controllers, since the CPU will also pick up hammers. Set the CPUs to level one (unless you are using an extra three controllers with no one playing, then just add them to the game). Pick up the Bats (or Hammers) and slug away to score lots of kills.
Information in this section was contributed by Evan Hickey.

To accumulate KOs quickly (for KO and score display), set up a 99 minute time battle with no items, pause turned off, and the damage ratio at 2.0. Put in as many human players as possible, up to 3. Use lightweights so they will fly farther and all with handicaps set at one. Then, add a level 9 CPU. Roy works well since he has adequate power and good speed. Choose the smallest stage available and let the game run until the time is up. With three humans you should get about 1500 KOs every time, 1000 KOs with two humans, and 500 KOs with one human.

Hint: Missing hammer head:
To lose your hammer head (the part that hurts others), go to a stage with a lot of obstacles. Make sure that the hammer is on, then hit one of the obstacles with it. The hammer head should fall off. If not, try again. You cannot hurt others anymore with just the handle.
Information in this section was contributed by Alexander Yaksic.

To get a headless hammer, go to Princess Peach's Castle. When Bullet Bill appears to attack the tower, get hit by him when you have the hammer. The head of the hammer will fly off. Also, another opponent can pick up the head if it lands on the stage.

Information in this section was contributed by Falcon40.

Hint: Marth or Roy: Double Smash attack:
Get a beam sword, fan, home-run bat, lipstick, star rod, or parasol, then use a Smash Attack on your opponent. You will have used one of those items in addition to their sword.

Information in this section was contributed by Evan Hickey.

Hint: Marth or Roy: Get back to platforms:
If you are sent flying off the screen, do your second jump (if you have it), then do the B Smash Attack. Do not finish it (because he does not move) enough times and you can reach the platform with your third jump.

Do a Smash Up (A + Up) and hold A. Your opponent should fly into the air while on fire. While he is in the air, press B + Up and you will hit him.
Information in this section was contributed by Corey and Ricky.
